We FINALLY got our referral!

While most of you know our story of our adoption, I will briefly bring everyone up to date. November 30, 2002 my husband Jim and I had a son named Charlie. He was born 10 weeks early and weighed 2 pounds, 13 ounces. He stayed in the NICU for 46 days. He is now a healthy 6 year old. While the doctors told me that I could have more children naturally, they also told me that they could guarantee that I wouldn't have the same problem. Jim and I decided that adoption was the best option for more children. We decided to start the process in the summer of 2005. After we jumped through all of the hoops to get the paperwork done, we finally had a log-in date of February 24, 2006. When we started the process the waiting time was 6-9 months. Now 34 months later, we finally have our daughter. We have decided to name her Juliet Yuan Pearce. She was born November 22, 2007. We are looking forward to getting our hands on her. We don't think we will travel until March 2009. I will keep everyone posted on our travels and updates.
